Where the money goes

Every euro sponsors pay Ferndrop, what it costs to keep it running, and every tree it has paid for, with the certificate to prove it.

How we count

Profit is what sponsors paid minus running costs: hosting, taxes, accounting and legal. Every euro of profit goes to planting trees.
Payments go to a named planting organisation, never to us. Each one is listed with its certificate, and its receipt when there is one.
Sponsors are not named next to what they paid. We show the total, so a sponsor’s agreement stays between us.
Usage is counted without tracking anyone: how many files were shared and downloaded, nothing about who.
